Hello,
I wanted to see if there is any interest out there to start up an Average Joe's "Yacht" Club in New Hampshire. I don't have a lake/place to do it, but I figure we can start out by going boating/fishing together and having a thread on here to communicate. Hopefully we can get enough membership over time to collect a cheap dues and get a spot for us all to do stuff. Who knows where it will all end up. My dad started a Model Train club back in the early 80's with 3 friends, now they have over 50, they dominate the Upstate NY area shows, they have thier own building, and they generate a decent non profit cash flow for projects and stuff, so anything is possible. If you are interested post here and I will get in touch. When we get 3-5 people interested, we will have a meeting somewhere.
