Hi all, I just recieved this ESKA 7HP model 1707, I believe its a 1969. anyway, I put gas in it, and tried to start the motor, next thing I see, gas is just flow down the exhaust nonstop. the engine would turn and kinda want to pop but would not start at all, I can see the gas is just flow continuously out the exhaust....not sure whats going on. once all the gas flowed out, I pull the start cord and the engine would pop and then runs ( propably on the left over fumes) but it runs. I added some gas into the tank again, and as soon as I pull the cord, gas continue to runs down and out of the exhaust. base on this observation, it would seems that whatever gas I put into the tank it would just flow thru the card and then out the engine. Does anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it?
Also, is this motor have an impeller? I was told that the engine is air cooled, so is that means it does not have an impeller/water pump? if it does have impeller, anyone knows how to replace it? Thanks.
