I just got this outboard for free on a boat purchase, he said it doesnt work. I found that one of the coil packs is bad so I ordered a new one. Included was a box with the carb in pieces. I cleaned it up and got it all back together but I was wondering how many turns out from bottom the mixture screw should be.

Go to the "Repair and maintenance" index above. Top item is the Engine FAQs board. Go to that and find Joe Reeves instructions for adjusting carb needles.
