Primer selenoid bypassing fuel

I'm having fuel problems on my 1990 Evinrude 120hp. I've narrowed it down to primer selenoid bypassing & flooding out motor. The primer is working with the key. The manual primer lever is in off position. Motor runs fine when I disconnect fuel line to selenoid. Is selenoid repairable??:confused:

yes rebuild kits are available. contact dealer.

I removed solenoid and blew into the feed line and air is bypassing through both smaller lines. I disassembled & inspected parts. Diafram seems ok. What else should I be looking for? Is the plunger supposed to seal against the diafram? The white plastic piece on top of the plunger looks like it melted or decayed. I'm assuming that white plastic is supposed to be flat & smooth to form a seal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
What parts come with a rebuild kit?
