Anyone have any luck with the Manuals on CD that Ive seen on eBay? Seem to be cheap and I like the idea of it being on disk. Ive got a 57 18hp Johnson by the way.

I did buy one, 1922-64 Johnson. It isn't bad, not the easiest to navigate but it's better than nothing. It is the factory manual, so if you choose one, go with that one.

Re: Repair Manuals on CD

Let me know which one you get and what you think about it. I am thinking about getting one as well. I have 13 different motors now, and all the neighbors look to me as the outboard guy. The parts manuals are most important to me, but the service manuals would be nice, too.

By the way, PDF format allows 'bookmarks' for an index that works really well. Some advertisements mention they use bookmarks. That would be a key feature to me.
