Just got back from a long weekend of camping boating. I have a question for you. I own a Johnson 70 horsepower, model J70ELCTE outboard. My motor actually ran Great!! but I did notice yesterday as I put the boat away I pulled the engine cover off of her to check how my spark plugs were burning and noticed on the big white exhaust cover side panel on the starter side had dark black thick oil stuff running down from some of the exhaust cover screws holding that panel on. My question is is that normal and if not is the gasket maybe going bad? Not sure. Thanks for your help, Bob
