twin johnson 140 fuel problem

hi guys i haved several problems with my engine in the past and all have been resolved by all of your great advise.thank you so much

this one is for my brother.he has twin johnson 1992 140HP it cranks up fine and idles fine.but at WOT it stalls and the fuel line gets sucked up.he then loosens the clamp at the fuel line and when it suck air back in the line then the fuel line looks normal.if he trys to WOT again then they suck up again.any advise to him what can be causing this problem.thanks in advance

If the primer bulb collapses, the problem is before the bulb or in the bulb itself.

Check the pickup screen in the fuel tank, the anti-siphon valve at the top of the tank outlet, use only marine full-sized fuel filters and 3/8" ID fuel line.

Allowing air into the fuel or oil lines line will cause the engine to run lean with possible piston damage resulting.

Check your fuel tank vent.
