Default Cleaning an Aluminum Hull

I am stripping down a aluminum boat and am wondering what would be a good product to brighten up the hull? Muratic Acid?
Thanks

I'm not sure what products work well for cleaning. However, I do know not to use Simple Green on aluminum. It quickens the oxidation process making the aluminum look terrible.

Do not use muriatic acid on an aluminum hull. It reacts and will break down the aluminum.

Thanks guys, I will order up some of the 3m polisher. I have about 2 hours of paint stripping left. and then some general clean up. I may just take it fishing this summer and complete the cleaning next spring.
