This is a 1981 Mercury 25 manual start tiller controlled 2 stroke outboard. I have a problem getting it started as the motor is not getting any fuel. I can pour or prime the carb with some fuel and it will start right up. I will die after it has consumed the little fuel I used to prime it with. Is there a way to test the fuel pump? I can prime the carb until the bulb gets hard and fuel does get there. I get no gas to go to the carb and was wondering if that would cause it. I already took the carb apart and blew out all passages and cleaned the whole carb. All gaskets looked fine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!!
