Greetings from Scotland!
I'm about to start restoring my 1973 Glastron Carlson CV 19.
Can anyone tell me where I can get the side "Glastron Carlson" decals that press into the chrome / stainless badges that sit either side of the hull near the stern?
Also, I'm after a "CV" round badge for the front deck; any ideas where I can lay my hands on one of them?

Many thanks,

Ian.

Ian I am not sure if you can buy the decals new but I would say an easy option would be to take your parts to somebody that does vinyl lettering for commercial vehicles ( a sighn shop ) and I bet they could knock out a couple sets for you .

Re: Glastron Carlson - restoration

Here it is.......

The boat had a refurbishment last Fall. I bought in from a chap in Berlin, Germany in November 2008 and trailed it home to Scotland.

I'm now trying to make it as original as I can - he had the seats recovered in non original material and fitted a pretty outrageous carpet!

Regards,

Ian.

Re: Glastron Carlson - restoration

Hi Ian, Glenn Hastings, from the original CGOA site had pretty nice replicas made for the side hood decals, and resonably priced. I had purchased them for my CV19 and CV21, they look great, and Glenn's a great guy,and probably has one of the nicest examples of a CV19 That I ever saw. Good luck with your new boat, I love the CV19's...
