Re: Good Boat names

when i bought my boat i had to put new numbers on it. i bought a packet of numbers and letters from a marina then tried to figure out a name from the remainders left over. as i have set it up strickly for fishing i wanted something appropriate. all i could find was Fishwitch. it matches the boat perfectly as in 2 years i have caught my share of fish and still haven't gotten the 90 horse Merc to run more then a few minutes.

The cuddy I have now is named "Karma"
The pontoon we had for a while was appropriately named "Flirtin' Wet Disaster"

I know a contractor that named his boat "Change Order". When he got a bigger boat, he named it "Big Change Order".

My wife and I saved for 7 years to buy our new boat, our last name is Day.
Our boat is "DAY'sDREAM"
Her brother's name is heaton, so his boat is "heat'nup"
Saw one last year "FUELISH MISTAKE"

Re: Good Boat names

My brother named my blue, long and skinny home built wood and fiberglass dive boat "Moby's ****". I thought "Crabs & Abs" was more appropriate but somehow we couldn't shake the first name.

Now I have a brutally handsome 40 year old diesel powered mini tug called "Popeye". It has dragged more than one dead boat back to the marina and is easy on the spinach, too.

Re: Good Boat names

I stood at the rear of my jetboat for about two hours looking at it this year...after finishing the new steering cable and helm installation and I finally decided on Bad Attitude! just seemed appropriate with two over the transom water injected Bassett Headers hooked up to the old 425 HP 402 Chevy Big Block motor. :D

Re: Good Boat names

Made an acronym from the first letters in our names. Thus we are "Drat's"
