As I plan to de-winterize my 1960 omc I was wondering what was the best way to run the boeat out of water. I remember someone telling me ear muffs did not work on the old omc out. Any suggestions?

will that fit on this? I don't where it would fit? Pardon my ignorance on this matter. I'm new to all this and don't want to mess up my boat.

As the Doctur shows, the hose adaptor replaces one of the pivot caps. Makes it very handy to run on land. Without it, you would need to have the leg sitting in a barrel and a hose keeping it full. The water intake is just above the prop behind the rudder.
