1941 2.5 HP seahorse. What a funky setup on the points in these things. All i have left to do is figure out how to lubricate the lower unit. Any ideas? And believe it or not.. It runs really good!! aside from the leaky carb..

I can see that this didn't stirr up the riveting "vertical points" discussion i was hoping for..lol..But, i am impressed nonetheless at ressurecting this pre-war unit. Thanks.

Awesome , never worked on one that old , but have been trying to find one to tinker with. i will have to find out more info on the points if i get one. great job!

Keep tabs with local scrap yards, they come in once and a while. 1937 Johnson 3.3hp what a deal. Bought it a scrap price.
