Default trim gauge ?

I have a 1998 bayliner capri 3.0 alpha 1 gen ll.The last owner sent a trim tilt gauge to hook up but I can't seem to find the wiring for the install any help would be great.

your boat probably is wired for it, just didnt come with the gauge due to added expense. on my 87, the wire is ran all the way under the dash as is on most of em i believe. i dont remember what color wire it is, maybe brown? anyways, it should be there all ready to hook up, believe it or not.

redone is correct on the wire thing - look at the top of your drive unit for these wires Lt.Blue with White stripe--------Trim up
Green with White stripe-----------Trim down
They will either be wrapped in a small bundle around or near the drive unit or as mentioned stapled under your dash.
Usually, if there was never a trim gauge installed the sending wires will all be at the transom. ( hopefully )
