I want change the impeller on this motor but after disconnecting the shift rod and taking out the 6 bolts and beating on it with a 2 lb hammer and block of wood for an hour and a half still wont come apart.It did move about an 8th of an inch, I tried using screwdrivers to pry apart but to no help. I think the gearcase shaft is stuck in the motor. Has this happend to anyone else and HOW CAN I GET IT APART. Help please I dont want to burn the motor up.
