someone is selling me a prop they used on their 1984 mercruiser 4cyl i/0 it appears to be a 14/19 prop but i would like to know if it will fit on a volvo penta with a 270 sterndrive? the part number on the prop is 48-73980-1, thanks in advanced.

No it won't, the volvo drives have a different spline count. the aquamatics use 17 spline hub.
