it was time to get the boat back in the water again so we were doing some fine tuning and maintenance to the boat(out of water testing). finally realized our power steering was locked up, couldn't turn wheel and sterndrive, so we started with bleeding the ps lines to get possible air or pressure to help release. it was finally budging rods loosening up but still tight, and as we kept going back and fourth, the clevis pin to the steering lever snapped, and disconnected form each other, Clevis pin was completely rusted. I can't even get this clevis pin out, its so rusted on, pin broke in three sections. Any suggestions to loosen or get this pin to move and remove so I can replace it???please help! been drilling, hammering, vicegripping, not budging. The parts attached to the Clevis pin should move freely once replaced correct?

Is it in a place you can put some heat to it?? Heat and cool it fast with a wet rag..... may help with the rust.

The pin need to be drilled out completely.
does the steering work now freely? .Are you sure it`s not the cable that tight where it goes thru the guide tube?
