I recently purchased a used 2007 9.9 4-stroke. Under power it seems to run fine, but it will not stay running while in idle or at very low speed. Even after being fully warmed up and under power, I can pull out the choke and the motor continues to run without any change.
This motor is being used as a kicker and it is of no use if I cannot run it on idle. I am running it with new gas, but have not made any adjustments yet to the carb. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
