I tried starting my motor yesterday...and NOTHING, all power to the accessories worked though. I tried moving the throttle a bit up and BAM it starts. I am guessing this is a throttle safety switch issue being lose or not making the connections it needs to and not a motor issues. Has this happened to anyone? If so what did you do to fix the problem? Should I buy a whole new throttle lever? Its a quicksilver throttle. Thanks

I don't think there is a throttle safety switch but it sounds like the neutral start switch in the control box.
