I have a 1979 115 Evinrude that we've done a lot of work on and runs great most of the time but recently we are having a problem losing power intermittently at full throttle. This usually occurs after we have run a while. It will run at full throttle and top out and suddenly the power drops off. This doesn't happen every time the boat runs and sometimes will gain full throttle again within seconds or minutes and then go back and forth from full to sluggish. Does this sound like a simple fuel supply issue or maybe a problem with one of the cylinders or carbs? Any help is appreciated!
