My buddy has twin 250's on his boat and one of the motors does not "pee" when you hook it up to a hose to flush. Water pump works fine and "pees" when running. He took it to the dealer and they "fixed it" but it still does not "pee" when hooked to a hose. We did find out that if we start the motor in the down position in the water with the hose turned on and shutt the motor off it will continue to "pee" with the hose hooked up until we tilt the motor. Any Ideas?

check that your poppit valve is clean and seating correctly. you may have debris in there causing the water to dump out.
