Default Aluminum painting question

I have a background in automotive painting - So I want to spray my aluminum hull - any recomendations on paint products?.

My hull has original paint - so prep won't be that bad - just wetsand and prime bare spots.

Any paint you want to spray to include a nice clear coat will work. Do you think a $2000 paint job on a $50 boat is a good investment? If it's a fishing boat you can actually roll and tip rustoleum on it with great results.

If you are not racing it around a Daytona type track who cares if the paint changes color.

Pictures.... we damand pictures!!!

Do you have a special primer for the prism paint? I also use Napa products. How well does it hold up?

How well does the rustoleum hold up? Have you tried spraying it on?

Been on for a month now, perfect still..

I have never sprayed (anything hoestly) but I believe from what I researched that you would need to thin rustoleum a bit to shoot it well..

Honestly it rolled on pretty darn good, at least for what I was looking to achieve
