I have a 21' Explorer TV with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke that I have tried 3 props on and can't get 6000 rpm only 5300. I have a 3 blade 14 3/4"x17 that turns 5100rpm wide open a 4 blade 14"x16 that will turn 5300 rpm and a 3 blade 14"x19 that will turn 4600rpm. Top in on all 3 props is 35 to 37 mph. I have also used about 3 qts of oil in 200 miles about 13 hours. I know that 4 strokes don't have the punch that a 2 stroke has but this motor should push this boat without any trouble I think. Any info on this would be appreciated.
