Just thought I'd post some pics of my work in progress. Just bought this beauty for next to nothing.
I wasn't able to find a lot of pictures of Celebrities around this age so I figured I'd post some. there have been some mods done by a previous owner. I'm going to redo the seats, carpet, some soft spots in the floor, and put in a motor and outdrive. Maybe, just maybe redo the Gelcoat. We'll see.
First update. I've stripped the seats and carpet back away from a soft spot in the floor. Removed the rotted wood and am working on patching it. I've cut a piece of marine grade plywood to fill the hole. I will be glassing and vacuum bagging the patch panel so that it will be sealed. Before the panel goes in, the surrounding wood will be glassed to seal it. Then everything will be sanded and the new panel will be glassed into place. Here's a pic of the panel being dry fitted.
