Little background... Carb was rebuilt, then replaced last year. Still having issues with taking off. it idles awesome, and takes off great little about 1500rpm. To give it more gas to take off it will bog out and normally just die. Basically, you have to gas it pretty hard and it will still fall on its face and come back and then run fine. Runs beatuiful from 3,000 all the way up to 4400rpm. It surges, and cuts out anywhere over 1500rpm to about 28,2900rpm. The mechanics that work on it say its normal when i know in fact it isnt, because 3 years ago when I first bought the boat it ran GREAT without any issues. What adjustments should i do to fix this? its also had a full tune up. basically the shop started throwing parts at it to fix it... and didnt. Help.
