I have a 1986 Merc 9.9 that seems to not get fuel. I can get it started but it bogs down when I give it gas. Sometimes it just stalls when it's idleing. The bulb is not staying hard and I have to pump it to get fuel into the engine. Sometimes if I squeeze the bulb real hard it sounds like something unclogs and the motor will be fine. I have rebuilt the carb and bought a new bulb and hose and it has a new power pack. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. FISH ON!
