Here are some pictures of my work inprogress. I completely stripped out all the interior wood(which someone had replaced the orginial with pt ply, a no no). I found a newer pro v console cap on craigs list which I modified to fit my pro v. All the new ply is 3/4 marine epoxied on all sides. After removing all the wood I found the flotation foam in good condition. My son and I fabricated new side panels and covered them in naugahide. More pictures to follow. Not bad for a boat I paid two hundred dollars for.

200$ for that boat. That's a good deal! Did it include the trailer?

Yes it included the trailer, but it was almost rusted away, I found a bunk trailer on craigs list fit the boat to a tee. Here are some pictures of the old trailer and new gauges

Nice to see another Lund in progress. I wish I had the time you do. You have come along way with your project. How long have you been at it?

You got a monster deal for 2 bills. I actually like your trailer. Mine is on bunks, I want rollers, but don't have enough info on them yet. Amazing what you can find on ebay, nice move. Nice work and keep the pics coming.

The picture of the trailer is the old one completly rusted in some areas. I bought a bunk trailer for it on craigs list. I have been working on it for about 6 months now. A little here a little there. I first found all the info i could on the internet, than got to work stripping the complete interior. marking and bagging all the screws and wiring, taking pictures and measurments along the way. prior to installing the new floor the wife and i went to the local boat ramp to check for any leaks, lucky for me none were found. hopefully it will be done in about a month. i'll post some more pictures soon.

Here, here for the Lund guys. We have a lot of catching up to do get close to the Starcraft armada. Looking very nice. I need to come up with some good plans or pattern for a dual console. Your single turned out fantastic!

Had to take a break from my resto due to my honeydo list(remember happy wife happy life)I just completd putting the right side panel in. I modified it from the orginal by adding a door and lcd lighting. I also just received my new lund seats. Added below are some new pictures of work so far, the truck is what will pull the boat.

I feel you on the honeydo list, my list set me back two months on my boat project. The week wife had me vault the ceiling in our eat in area and put in 6 recessed lights & 1 chandelier  Hope your list is not as big.

Thiker! So it was you who beat me to those seats on the Lund ebay store! I had to go with the tan ones. LOL. You have anymore pics of your teardown? I would like to see how you fastened those side panels plus see if your boat has those L brackets riveted to the side of the hull. I have some pics of those posted on my restore thread but yet have gotten a reply about them.

Looking very nice I must say :D

Sorry about that. I orginally wanted 4 but I too was a little late in bidding. as for your question, if you look at my first post you will see a picture of the left side without the panel, enlarge it you can see the holes in the rub rail and the channel at the bottom. I just drilled through these to attach the side panel. Hope this helps

Hi All, it's been a while since my last entry but finally it's complete. It took a good part of a year but it was worth it. Just about replaced everything on the boat, but man does it run. here's a list what I did.1) Removed all of the old wood and replaced with marine ply. 2) fabracated a new console, complete with a new cap(craigs list) and gauges. 3) All new carpeting. 4) All new vinyl. 5) New control panels, (switch, fuse, live well). 6) Stereo with speakers. 7) Fishfinder. 8) All new LED interior lighting. 9) lost count of how many new ss screws. 10) New steering cable along with a new ss steering tube, had to cut the old one out. 11) All new wiring with a battery switch, something i knew nothing about so I took the boat to Shallow Water Customs in Ft. Lauderdale GREAT JOB everything works great people to deal with. 12) The engine was gone through, new lower unit oil, new impeller, carbs rebuilt, tuneup, VRO disconnected, new inline fuel filter, new pickup tube in the fuel tank. The only thing missing is a trolling motor but its already wired for a 24v one. The boat runs like a top, my son and I took it out on Lake okeechobee without any problems. I'd like to thank everyone who gave their imput and advice. I hope the pictures go through

From what I can see, it looks like you did a real nice job. I'm in the middle of restoring a Crestliner and I'm interested in getting a closer look at your rig. Unfortunatly, your pictures are very small and it is hard to see some of the details. Any chance of uploading some larger images?

BTW - $200 for a Lund Pro-V is an absolute steal - regardless of condition. You did well.

Looks like you did a wonderful job. I have the same boat and she is getting a little worn, but for good reason. She gets lots of time fishing and has even brought me home a moose 3 falls ago. I have a 90 hp Mariner on the back and only get about 32 mph out of her and think I should get more. I had been running an old prop and since I bought the motor used I am not sure what I should have on it. The new prop is 13.25" with 17 pitch, this is what was recommended. Haven't had a chance to dunk her yet. What are you running for a motor and prop and what is your top end? Thanks.
