I need a couple of boat seats. Can't use on a pedastal, I have to be able to mount them directly to the bench. Also must be, or be able to accomodate a swivel base. Anyone with anything like this pease let me know. Took my pops out for fathers day on a maiden voyage fishing trip. Everything went great! New boat only had a very little leak, the 1957 evinrude ran fantastic after several years retirement, and we caught some nice 7-8 inch gills. However Pops is 65 and butt and back were very soar. So the kid needs to get him a seat. However I cant have him riding better than the captian, but if someone only had one I will start there. Thanks.

Take a look @ my thread, maybe you can do something like my jump seats I made?

Get a nice seat, a swivel base, build a box n screw it all together. If its too comfy, but some thumbtacs or sumthing on the seat...bad son!!!
