1972 100hp evinrude/electic shift wire location and color of wires??
hi there just picked up a 72 100 starflite rude,not to familiar with this motor was wondering if any one might know where the wires are located for the electric shift,and color of the wires,do not have control box so iwas planing on useing different control box and wiring i with toggle switches,as parts are getting rare in canada thanks for your help in advance

The wires normally have a collar near the end of the wire. One green and one blue. They should be somewhere near the rear starboard side of the powerhead.
