alarm and dead batteries

recently my batteries got low and the motor would not start,i took starter off and had it tested, all was good, i recharged batteries, and the engin started, but the alarm sounded full time.this is a 1993 johnson ocean runner.i took boat out yesterday alarm was constant, and in a few minutes both of my batteries were dead, any one have any answers. Wiser

Constant alarm = Overheat. Possibly the batteries are good and the motor is seized.

this is a 200 hp ocean runner, mortor is not sized, it will start and run fine after i got a boost, i did have one bilge pump thet was shorted, would that kill both batteries?? ty
