Red face Buying a used boat with a leak?

We just looked at a 1992 four winns sundowner, owner is asking $4800. Out side of boat and motor are in perfect shape, look brand new. The only problem is that apparently there is a small leak, the owner thinks it may be a new hose or bellow? Current owner does not want to allow us to take it to a shop to find out about the leak. We are not experienced boat people so is this a big red flag or just a minor item to fix?

Thanks!

Huge red flag, too much money in a market loaded with old used boats.
Find one that works well, was maintained and has had those consumable items replaced.

Big red flag, if he doesn't want you to have it looked at he knows what is wrong with it and doesn't want you to know.

Walk away, as stated, way to many boats out there right, keep looking you will find another one.
