Holsclaw tilt trailer

HHHHHelp Anybody out there with information on how to find out the year on a holsclaw tilt trailer that I converted to a utility/dump trailer with a truck bed I need to find out what year it is so that I can get it registered since there is no vin the only info that is stamped on the plate is ...model: D-1700 load cap: 1700...tires: 650-13... load range: B... In the last 4 hours I looked to no avail and I can't just give them any year DMV wants printed proof

can you just reg. it as a home built? since it is no longer a boat trailer
you mite also want to post a picture over at fiberglassics.com they deal with old,old boat trailers.

thanks I did end up taking it to a garage and had a mechanic look at it and blueslipped it I even towed it past the p'station unregistered since they gave me a hard time last night, the mech laughed when I told him that the cop wanted the year and in writing I called a few boat dealers and they said the same as you did cuz since holsclaw is gone there's no way of finding outafter that I had no problem registering it thanks again,....
