Hello -

I have a 1997 60 hp Mercury Bigfoot that needs a new starter solenoid. I am having trouble determining what the correct part number I need as the one that came off the engine is clearly not the correct part since the bolt holes did not correctly line up. Can someone point me in the proper direction? Thanks.

Get the serial number off the engine block and call a Mercury dealer and they should be able to get you the correct part number.
