hey I just swapped a 70hp 2 stroke yami for a 75hp 2 stroke yami, and now I get no spark on the 75. the model and serial for the 75 is C75TLRS and 40A787. The 70 numbers are 70ETLH and s462372.
Now the one weird thing i did notice is that the plastic sticker on the 75 has VOID printed diagnally all over it where the numbers are, kinda like if you photo copy a title and void comes out all over the place, its like that. that makes it difficult to read some of the numbers, so I might be off a digit possibly. Does anyone know what that would mean?
All the cables, harness and controls hooked up fine with the exception of a small difference in the trim wires. Now the thing looks great, cranks strong but has no spark.
Any ideas?
the engine came off of a storage crate, marks of corrosion on the transom foot show its def been mounted before, I don't really know the history of the engine.
