I took her out for my maiden voyage. It's a 04 150 hp Johnson j150pxsrb. I hit some rocks and put a hole in the lower unit, bent the fin and nicked the prop. My question is two fold. What should I pay to have someone replace this unit. Is it easy enough to replace myself? If so,where is the best place to pick one up? Should I use a rebuilt? I am in CT and would like to get her back on the water asap.
