I have a 95 Sea Rayder Jet Boat 14' that will not plane unless someone is sitting in the front. The boat originally had a 90hp motor, but we had a 120hp installed. The specs say the new motor only weighs 30 pounds more, so I'm not sure why it won't plane. Will trim tabs solve this problem? What size tabs and poundage do I need to buy? Is there anything else to make the boat plane without someone sitting in the front?
