i need to know what model of motor and the year of it. i cant keep it running it will start but will not stay runnig unless i pump yhr hand pump inline from the tank to the motor. do i have to have quick disconnect fittings on both sides of the fuel line i have one to the motor but not one on the tank.

A 15032 is a 1960 model.
Fittings are not required, but nice to have. How exactly is it connected to the tank if there isn't a fitting?
Having to pump the primer bulb indicates a fuel pump problem, but could also be an air leak in the lines.

very normal, for that vintage to have just one disconnect. you either have a weak fuel pump, or a sticking float needle in the carb bowl. also, is the vent open on the tank.
