Initial trim tab position

My Alpha 1 lost its trim tab when I replaced it I put it on straight. Should the initial setting always be slightly angled for the prop rotation?

It's not set for prop rotation, it's there to equalize the steering. You can adjust it one way or the other so the steering doesn't pull real hard one direction, and steers with equal pressure both directions.
