1996 Evinrude XP150 best oil

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best oil for my 89 Evinrude XP150. It is a 20 year old boat and I have to get another 4-5 years out of it. The boat is in great shape.

Any TC-W3 rated petro outboard oil is as good as any other, Taustin.

The synthetic TC-W3 oils make less smoke and cost a lot more.

I have used only Wal Mart's SuperTech for about the last 20 years.

This topic usually generates a thousand claims and opinions, so be ready.
