i have a 1995 130 johnson which a had rebuilt by local marina . ever since motor runs really ruff at about 2500 rpm spiting and sputtering.. but runs great at full throttle marina is trying to tell me thats how the motor is expose to run .... they said its a 2 stroke and it doesn't hit its power band till after 2500 rpm . thats a joke i've had the boat since it was new and it never ran like this ..rebuilt because low oil alert never went off and motor was ran with no oil by stepfather
