hi everyone
i just purchased a 1979 16ft glassmaster as a starter boat. thanks to youguys i figured out it was a super sport..
. had 2 jetskis for years and decided to look for something i could but the whole family in. i pulled it out of a garage and it has not ran in 3 years. the guy i bought it off of said it ran when he parked it but had to pull start it to get it running he included a starter with the boat but i am thinking it may be a starter solenoid??. i put new plugs in it and charged the battery....the battery wont hold a charge. it will only get to about 10.2 volts...will be getting a new battery today. is there anything else i should do to get the boat seaworthy?? not real familiar with the outboards....its an 85hp evinrude. any help would really be helpfull.........
