Thank you for taking my question.
I have a project 15 hp that I have been working on. It's been running great. When I bring it in and tilt it up after use, water drains from the drive shaft column/housing for about 2 minutes. This seems like a long time for me but I am not used to this engine. Does this sound right? I have recently replaced the water pump and a couple seals on the lower unit. I think enerything is back in place properly, and, as I mentioned, the engine runs great. Does a few minutes to drain column water sound right?
Thank you,
Jim

Seems like a long time, but its probably nothing. Could be that one of the drain holes is partially plugged. Nothing you could have done when you replaced the water pump would cause this. I wouldn't spend another minute worrying about it.
