The serial number alone will not distinguish whether it is a 9.9 or 15 hp motor.
That motor is a 1994 Motor , but could be a 6, 8, 9.9. or 15 hp

Might try looking at the carbs to determine which it is....
For 0G112449 & below:
The 9.9 should have a WMC-23 carb (w/ .052" main jet)
The 15 should have a WMC-29 carb (w/ .066" main jet)
