My copilot will make the shaft turn on my Minn Kota 55 -- but will not turn the prop on; any thoughts?

Will the pedal turn the motor?

is the battery dying? Try re-seating the connection of the receiver to the motor.

Do you have the wired foot pedal connected? I had the same problem with mine last week and if I remember correctly it was because the foot pedal was in continuous mode with the speed all the way down. I think the foot pedal was overriding the copilot remote. I may have it twisted around but it was something like that.

Thanks for the thoughts. I tried my foot control and the same thing happens, shaft will turn but prop will not-same as with the wireless; battery is fully charge and connections are good. The main circuit board was change during warrenty and once after warrenty, each time only lasted about a year and a half; has been about 2 years since last replacement, time again?

May be. Mine had/has problems with the autopilot feature. Sometimes it will just decide to pick a new heading.
