Ok-
Got the boat in the water today, never used this motor other than running it in a garbage can in the driveway. Runs kinda rough, we rebuilt the carb, fresh gas, new plugs, new plug boots (The factory ones are a joke!). There are two small vacuum lines going from the reed valves behind the carb to the cylinders called upper and lower bypass. The motor runs with or without them hooked up. They are spewing gas into the cylinders and my plugs are definitely showing it. Is this normal? Never seen something like that before. I'm planning on putting points in it this weekend either way, but is this a problem?
