I just inherited my Dad's boat and Evinrude 9.9 four stroke motor. The numers are e10el4sse and g04775257. Can anyone tell me first what year it might be, and secondly where to go to order a service/parts manual in order for me to properly care and use this motor. Any help will be greatly appreciated!:D

You want an OEM Evinrude/Johnson service manual ... all others are not nearly as detailed or as well written! You can try eBay, that's where I got mine. Others may have more suggestions.

OEM parts can be ordered on-line from a number of sources ... as well as even more after-market sellers (like iBoats) for parts like carb and water pump re-build kits.

Thanks for that information! On a side-note, LOVE Morehead City!!! Vacationed @ Emerald Isle when I was younger. Great place!!!!
