Looking at a used Century 2100 dual console. It has a V6 Yamaha 150. Do you think this engine is enough power for a 21'? Thx.

It might be iffy. I have a 2600 with the factory minimum power 1X250. The boat will do 41MPH, but it is hard to plane. I also have to go fast in rough seas-it wont hold a plane going any slower that 29MPH, so if the waves are high the ride suffers.

I have a 1997 Century 2201 with a S150TXRW. WTO 5600 RMP 43MPH. Cruises great at 4000RPM at around 30 MPH

I have a 2007 Century 2102 CC with a Yamaha F150. It could use more horsepower but it does pretty good. With a 17 inch Reliance prop it jumps out pretty good and at WOT goes about 47 MPH. It cruises prefect at 33 MPH with about 4 MPG!
