I have a 2004 Minn-Kota Maxxum Powerdrive 65 with Autopilot and Co-Pilot. It is a 24v system. I have always operated it using the thumb remote of the Co-Pilot. The unit I think has 10 speed settings and they use to be very uniformly incrementally faster with each setting higher. I think they maybe something wrong with it because I am starting to notice problems with speed control from one level to the next. I don?t recall exactly what setting level it is but for conversation sake let?s say that I usually run at level 5 but because of the wind or whatever I want to go up to the next level. I bump it to 6 six with no real change so I bump it to 7 now I?m flying way too fast. I?ve had the unit since new and I don?t recall this being the case. Has anyone else heard of this before and how did you fix it?
