This is my first post hope I am in the place. I have a 2001 Mercury 225 Optimax in a Ranger 520 has about 40hrs on it. Today it started getting a warning buzzer. It will go off any time the key is on. Even if the motor is not running. It will beep 4 short beeps stop for about 2minutes and repeat the beeps again. The oil tank is over half full and the temp guage is not hot. Any help will be great. Thanks Much Darrel

An intermitten beep usually means low oil.Even if the tank is full the sender might be stuck or the contacts dirty.
Drain the tank clean the sending unit. Good luck,J

jerryjerry05,
Thank you so much for your quick response. You were right the sender float in the reserve oil tank was stuck. I fixed it today. Went fishing today and caught a 8lb Bass.
Thanks Again,
Darrel
