Boat wants to try to heat up at idle. First time in water this year. Increase rpms and cools back down. Rubbing noise in outdrive new sound. Could this be raw water impeller? What is the easiest way to check and replace if needed? Been told to put it in forward gear to r/r the bottom half of outdrive. Would like some helpful advice from someone? Heavy Equipment mechanic by trade been known to beat on things to get apart, don"t think this would be good idea.
